Schools abdicated teaching a couple of dozen years ago, and pivoted to social interests - which cannot actually be quantified, so they shed the necessity for actually turning out learned students.

(I am intimately involved in educational institutions).

I stopped hiring 'college graduates' back in the early 2000s because they literally knew nothing or at best, very little about what they had focused on.

GPT removes the necessity for a teacher, and even counselors are going to be easily replaced by AI.

They are running scared because they know that the cloak of invisibility is about to be ripped from their arms and people will see the workings behind the educational industrial complex that fleeces students. provides little in the way of significance and has become a paper factory for the elite class.

Cannot happen fast enough for me.
