The problem with photography is that the tool has become - through the inclination to love our toys to the brilliant marketing of photographic companies - the focus of photography.
I know painters. They don't lust for brushes.
I know authors. They don't care about what word processor you used.
Sculptures don't go bananas over the newest chisels or acetylene tanks.
But photography has always been 80% tool, 20% art.
It used to drive me crazy, now it just drives me to smile and wave.
