Ten x Ten: August 2024: Photos From Ten Photographers
I need to feature the talented folks I work with.
I have a mentorship group that meets weekly.
One of the things we do is review images and portfolio work.
I want to share a few of these images with you, as I find these talented photographers' work to be both delightful and inspiring.
So let’s get started.
Mildred Moore is a food and product photographer in South Carolina. Her work is full of color, design, and texture. This frozen cookie treat is a creative project for her food portfolio.

Karen Weiler is a commercial photographer specializing in pets. She spent some time in Iceland and shared some amazing work from there.

Julie L’Heureux works in the Boston area. She specializes in still life and food. Lately, she has been working on a series of flower images in her studio.

Joyce Leong works in Singapore. She specializes in brand photography with a specialty in food and product. She is also a prolific videographer. Her home page (landing page style) is a one reason she works consistently. Her work is the biggest reason.
Jennifer Arce, Miami, Florida, stays busy shooting for local and national brands. Her work is timeless, contemporary, and graphic. A gifted photographer with a strong work ethic, Jennifer always brings her A-Game. Check out her amazing motion graphics.

Jay Chatzkel, Carefree, AZ, shoots a wide variety of work from still life to travel. Jay brings something new to every meeting, and we have learned to be surprised. He his a prolific book creator.

Mikala Freitas, NY, NY, works with various formats including Instax, iPhones, and mirrorless. She is an artist who uses the pallet of NYC and its resident artists to create visuals that stop viewers in their tracks.

Donn Dobkin, Virginia, is a portrait photographer who takes off-beat and magical portraits of interesting people. He brings a tradition of landscape photography to his portraiture, and is shooting for magazines and publications.

Carmen Blike, Antibbe, France, works with people and products in her studio and on location. She brings a fascination with color and design to her work that clients love. She works with natural and artificial light to bring a special sparkle to every assignment.

Amy Roth, New Jersey, specializes in food and tabletop. Do not visit her website if you are already hungry… you have been warned. Amy is currently shooting for a diverse set of clients for branding, advertising, and social media. Her work is both striking and accessible.

I feel very blessed to meet with this group of photographers and work with them as they build their businesses and develop their work. I look forward to our meetings with delight.
