However, it is now the norm.

To be seen in these competitions and awards you must find the most obscure downtrodden people you can. Mix in violence, sexism, misogyny, and if you can find any slant of racism to mix in, you have a winner.

It is sad and disheartening. It is exploitation writ large.
It is vile.

No one would even exhibit this stuff, let alone put it on the walls of their homes.

Only slightly better in the supposed “fine arts”.
