"Now, what if your boss is able to create the required designs using an artificial intelligence program? The artwork may not be as good as yours but for the customer, it may be good enough (and would cost less)."
And when that happens, the value goes from whatever a good AD or CD or Copywriter or Illustrator or Designer makes to zero.
There is nothing that I am aware of that is not based on effort to create. If there is no effort, then the value is zero.
From low paying jobs to drum machines... if it takes no talent, skill, or effort to produce, then it has no value.
And that ad agency will be out of business soon because a cheaper, quicker upstart will easily replace them. An agency is only as good as its employees. And then that upstart will be replaced by someone willing to do it for even less. AI is not a mouth to feed, it is a money saving, non talented tool.
The agencies that use it will find they have no competitive edge over any other agency that has access to it.
