I encourage my students to put their work on some social media platforms, but expect nothing. I have these instructions.;

1. IG. Post only curated imagery. Separate from posting images and being an ‘instagrammed’.

2. Be on Behance. Engage and keep the work fresh.

3. Only do photo sharing sites for fun. They bring little to the party.

4. FB is for taco recipes.

5. Beware of getting into any pay to play sites. None of them do anything.
