I am hoping for some sort of “authenticity notation” to be offered for digital photography. I too came from film, and still shoot it. But the expense can be daunting. I agree with this. Although I disagree with calling generative AI photography as it bears no relationship to the craft. It is digital art. But, as you noted, that line is blurred. My belief is that AI can make A ‘photo’ it cannot make THE photo. That still takes boots on the ground.
