Good points.

This is what I see in my mentorship.

1. Failure to build a cohesive book of work.

2. No idea who their market is.

3. Failure to identify possible clients.

4. Believing that social media will save them (Hint: it won't).

5. Spending too much time behind the screen and not enough time behind the lens.

6. Being boring, and uncurious. It's true. Sorry.

7. Not showing people their work. That is sort of key, ya know.

8. Spending too damn much money on gear.

9. Too much time trying to be an internet influencer than a photographer.

10. Laziness. Inability to understand the urgency of our work, our business, and how what we do influences where we go.
