Anything not requiring a steep learning curve is essentially worthless. That's why short order cooks make less than Michelin 5star chefs. It is why flute players make less than oboe players. It is why the best actors get the big bucks.
Take away the effort, talent, skill acquisition and all we have left is order takers and button pushers.
I'm not sure that is what we want.
Story, skill, talent, production values... all are needed in great quantities. Leaving out one makes the others collapse. See recent movie releases where story was abandoned in favor of production.
