California was the Golden State. I cannot even go there much anymore. My wife and I love Carpinteria, but getting there through the massive amount of traffic, terrible drivers, and now crime on the highways makes it less desirable for sure.

I visit the Anza Borrego about once a year, spend a few nights in Julian, but as for the coast... at least for now, count me uninterested.

And nothing could get me excited about ever living in LA again.

Laramie, Sheridan, or Cody, Wyoming is where I am bound.
